TPAC’s faculty of outstanding teaching artists apply their professional expertise in the arts and the creative process to lead and originate activities and explorations for TPAC’s arts education programs in schools. Our TAs have the training and experience to tailor their work to each particular age group, program goal, and specific educational partnership.
Disney Musicals in Schools (DMIS) teaching artists apply the magic of Disney to theatre activities that address imagination, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in after-school settings. DMIS artists partner with educators to produce Disney KIDS and Disney JR. musicals, building and supporting sustainable theatre programs in Metro Nashville elementary schools.
Wolf Trap Early Learning Through the Arts teaching artists communicate the wonder and excitement of the arts to three-to-five-year-old children. Wolf Trap artists partner with pre-school teachers to translate their arts expertise into student activities and teacher strategies that address early childhood developmental goals.
