Venues & Rentals

Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) operates one of the most unique facilities of its kind with three venues featuring multiple, state-of-the-art capabilities. Opened in 1980, the James K. Polk Cultural Center which TPAC calls home is located near the state capitol in downtown Nashville. In addition, TPAC manages War Memorial Auditorium, a multi-purpose and historic concert venue across the street. War Memorial is currently closed for renovation and unavailable for rental.

TPAC accommodates major music, dance, theatrical, and television productions, along with performances in intimate settings and a wide variety of such events as award ceremonies, films, recitals, product launches, receptions, and meetings. All performances open to the general public are featured on TPAC’s electronic marquee, while clients have access to our lobby screens for special acknowledgments, if desired.

All events in TPAC-managed venues are booked through the Programming & Sales Department. Call 615-782-4086 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or fill out the Rental Information Form.
